The NCDP Transgender Caucus is looking for grassroot leaders ready to amplify their voices, energy, and impact on the rights of transgender people across NC and the nation. We are the only state level transgender caucus in the country and we need you to help support our efforts from within the institutions that govern all our lives. It is not an easy task to volunteer our time in this endeavor, but we are here because we believe, given the current political climate from local to federal level, that we really have no choice. Additionally, the caucus is finally reaching a point where we are ready to endorse democratic candidates across NC in the 2026 election cycle with our eyes focused on 2028. As the pieces fall into place, we need to collaborate with organizations that are actively involved in training candidates to effectively and confidently communicate the importance of supporting our transgender population, particularly our youth, when engaged in debate at town halls and other public forums.
